When should the government step in to prevent Swine Flu?
Early:
Advantages:
· prevents it from spreading earlier
· you have it under control earlier
· can act on it earlier
· know what is happening earlier
· warn people to be safe earlier
· have research gone in to it earlier
Disadvantages:
· you could frighten the society
· keeping people to stay safe and indoors could have a big impact on the economy earlier
Late:
Advantages:
· people won’t be as frightened and will be aware of the pandemic
· you would have more time to observe and analysis it before you take further action
Disadvantages:
· It could be too late to take action
· Not enough research would have gone in to the virus
· Cannot prevent it, it could it have already spread all over the world
· Some people may now know what’s happening
· You won’t have it under control
